DescriptionThis course is suitable to prepare for the Linux Professional Institute LPI 102 exam. It covers areas such as local, network and security administration tasks. The local tasks include Linux kernel module management and compilation, the booting process as well as user and group management. The network administration tasks cover popular services such as shared printers, DNS, Web services, mail transport agents, NFS and Samba services. The course also covers security related topics including logging and authentication, the SSH server, time servers and Firewalls (ipchains and iptables).
Audience This course is aimed at Linux professionals with at least six months working experience. For IT professionals with little or no Linux experience please contact us for personal advice.
