SystML and partners HavanaWave AG have released customisations of the Universal Business Language for general use here. One of these, the UBL 2.0 subset 'SystML2' is available freely (royalty-free opensource) under a GPL 2 license as part of the 'XForms for UBL ' opensource project. The subset is designed to simplify implementation while keeping core aspects of the UBL documents. The Universal Business Language 2.0 is a Standard of the Organisation for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards (OASIS). It is considered appropriate as a next generation XML standard for use in electronic commerce. The SystML2 subset has been developed by key contributors to UBL and with collaboration from the UBL user community in response to the requests of implementers and potential implementers.
